A selection of vintage Italian genie bottle decanters in the square brutalist style, available for individual sale.

Produced in mid-century Empoli, a suburb of Florence, where many glass-producing factories were situated, this style of decanter bottle was hugely popular as a decorative room accent, and was exported across the world. They are now sought out by international collectors and look beautiful arranged together or alone. Each heavy mid-sized bottle, nicknamed the Square Brutalist style by collectors due to its shape and cubist pattern, has a pressed abstract decor of rectangles to its sides and a cube-shaped stopper. Occasionally bottles are seen with a ball shaped stopper. Bases are marked 'MADE IN ITALY'.

This style of bottle comes in several shapes and sizes with different textured finishes and different stoppers, but all with the same pressed rectangle pattern. If you are matching a set, please check the measurements below before purchasing, or just ask for more details.

This style of bottle was produced in several colours which vary in rarity. Bottles are available for individual sale, select your colour choice from the dropdown menu. Favourite the listing and check back regularly as new colours added often.
