Santo Stefano di Camastra Sicilian Funnel Vase in Red, Orange & Turquoise, signed and dated Ceramiche La Maga 1980.
Elegantly shaped ceramic vase, hand-decorated in vivid 1970’s inspired colours of red, orange, olive green, rust, black and bright turquoise with tiny white highlights and lava glaze effect.
Highly decorative, in perfect condition despite its 40 years, with beautifully glossy finish. Displays beautifully alone or arranged with other vintage ceramics, see photos.
Made in Santo Stefano di Camastra, a charming medieval village on the northern coast of the Italian island of Sicily, halfway between Palermo and Messina. The town is known for its colourful glazed art pottery.
