Red Genie Bottle - Vintage 1960's Italian Red Hourglass Shaped Optical Glass Genie Bottle Decanter with Flame/Teardrop Shaped Stopper in Excellent Condition.

Smooth hourglass shape bottle in bright scarlet glass with an integral optical rib pattern, with circular base and lipped neck. The hollow hand-blown flame stopper is cased in clear glass, and twists into the fine tip. The stopper's base has been roughly ground off at its end and fits directly into neck of bottle with no cork or plastic insulation.

Bottle stands 23"/58cm tall including stopper.

A beautiful decorative piece alone, or combined with other genie bottles in different colours and shapes. See photos.

Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is a little shelfwear to the base consistent with the age of the bottle, and the base of the stopper that goes inside the bottle has been roughly hand-ground/cut as mentioned above, though this can not be seen when it is in place, and is just mentioned for accuracy.
