Purple Genie Bottle - Vintage Italian 1960's Amethyst Glass Spiralling Twist Design Genie Bottle Decanter with Stopper in Perfect Condition, made in the Empoli Region of Tuscany.

Curvy moulded bottle in deep amethyst glass with a spiralling twist pattern covering the surface, with circular slightly indented base and narrow lipped neck. The hollow matching spiral twist patterned stopper is a squat flame or ‘pine cone’ shape, and fits loosely directly into neck of bottle with no cork or plastic insulation.

Bottle stands 20.5”/52cm tall including stopper.

A beautiful decorative piece alone, or combined with other genie bottles in different colours and shapes. Photographed next to two standard-sized blue hobnail bottles to illustrate scale. See photos.

Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There are some minor small bubbles and inclusions within the glass from manufacture, consistent with other bottles of this type.
