Elegant retro 1960's Beswick coffee service pieces with distinctive space-age style lids and angular handles. Cups are blue with white interior, saucers are plain blue with white reverse.
Perfect for today's dark interior decor trends, the blue is a dark grey-blue that we would call Air Force blue here in England.

Coffee pot has impressed shape mark '1958'. Hot water jug has impressed shape mark '1973'. Saucers have "Beswick England" backstamp. The cups stack beautifully inside each other - there's nothing more annoying than cups that don't stack!
Pots are in good vintage condition - no chips, cracks or repairs, just a little clean crazing to lids. 3 cups and 4 saucers are in very good condition, the other 3 cups and 2 saucers have clearly had more use and have crazing to white parts. All display perfectly however.
Coffee pot measures approx 8.75" tall.
Hot water jug 7.75" tall.
Saucers approx 5.5" diameter.
Cups 2.25" tall, 2.75" diameter.
British made vintage items from the 1960s. These coffee services came in a variety of plain colours and patterns with contrasting lids, and are a fantastically striking shape to collect.
