A complete vintage 1960s 18-piece Sheridan bone china rainbow Harlequin tea set, comprising 6 perfect gilt-rimmed trios in red, yellow, green, blue, grey and black.

Set comprises:
6 teacups with white interior, ornate gilt handles, gilt scalloped rims and pedestal base, approx 2.75" tall, 3.35" diameter
6 matching saucers with white centres, gilt scalloped rims and gilt pin stripe, approx 5.125" diameter
6 matching tea plates with white centres, gilt scalloped rims and gilt pin stripe, approx 6.375" diameter

Each piece carries a backstamp reading 'SHERIDAN bone china England'

These rainbow primary bright colours are unusual in a Harlequin set, which generally tend to be pastel, so are particularly striking. They look fabulous both mixed or matched, for a glorious afternoon tea or zingy breakfast setting.

All pieces in excellent vintage condition and appear unused - no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
