J&G Meakin Flamenco pattern - a selection of stunning coffee and tea service pieces in a super mid-century design, on the Lyric shape first brought out in the 1950s.
Each piece features a transfer-printed design of red poinsettia flowers with green foliage, on a grey cross-hatched background. The teacups are in plain grey with white interior and 'rounded square' bases. This particular design was launched in 1962, and continued to be used on later shapes by J&G Meakin.
Saucers and plates are a 'rounded square' TV screen shape.

All pieces in good vintage condition - no chips, cracks or repairs. As these pieces are more than 50 years old, there may be some light crazing, light cutlery marks or small areas of wear to the pattern in places, but all are suitable for daily use. All plates & saucers have a Meakin backstamp.
