Midwinter Pottery Stylecraft Collectors Series Boxed Set of 4 Polychrome Vintage Aircraft Pin Dishes/Ashtrays/Trinket Dishes, designed by Terence Conran in 1956.
Vintage Aircraft set of 4 larger square polychrome dishes, approx 12cm/4.75" across on the diagonal. Original whimsical hand engravings in black with turquoise and yellow accents on a white background by a young Terence Conran.
Striped branded cardboard box has general age-related wear and sticky tape marks.
Dishes feature the following designs:
Maxim's Flying Machine 1894
Farman Biplane 1911
Dunne Inherently Stable Biplane 1912
Autogiro 1926
Dishes are all in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, designs crisp and unfaded, glaze still glossy.
