Midwinter Pottery Stylecraft Collectors Series Set of 4 Locomotive Pin Dishes/Ashtrays/Trinket Dishes, designed by Terence Conran in 1956.
Locomotives set of 4 square dishes, 3.25" x 3.25" (8.25cm x 8.25cm) unboxed, featuring original whimsical hand engravings in black on a white background by a young Terence Conran:

1838 Locomotive
1845 Locomotive
1847 Locomotive
All in excellent condition with no chips or crazing, glaze still glossy, though please note the 1845 Locomotive dish has a very fine historic hairline crack to top left corner, which is barely discernible.
