Garden Party coffee pot from the J&G Meakin Studio 2 range, designed by Jessie Tait in 1975.

Extremely rare and sought after, this is the holy grail for J&G Meakin collectors. A white ceramic coffee pot with lively brightly coloured flower power transfer print to both sides of pot. Lid is plain turquoise. Printed maker's mark to base.

Height: 23cm
Excellent condition throughout with no visible chips, cracks, crazing, staining or repairs. There is shelfwear consistent with age and a rough spot on the base, see photos.

Complimentary insured worldwide shipping. I am a highly experienced packer and despatcher of vintage ceramics and glass. Alternatively, buyers are welcome to collect in person from my extensive showroom near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, UK, where I always stock at least 100 different Meakin coffee pot patterns. I am always interested in purchasing Garden Party pieces, see Photo 10, please do contact me if you have a collection to sell.
