Midwinter Happy Valley in Rare Blue Variant, designed by Jessie Tait, on the Fashion Shape.
Launched in the early 60s a couple of years after the standard multi-coloured Happy Valley pattern, this soft blue colourway is completely different in feel. The glaze is a matt satin white, and the mono coloured transfer in Delft blue gives the design an almost Willow Pattern vibe.
Listed for individual sale are coffee cup and saucer duos, and a larger tea-sized sugar bowl, select from the dropdown menu to purchase. Coffee cups in Midwinter's Fashion Shape range have a delightful mid-century shape with rounded square base and a slightly pointy handle shape. They are smaller than the standard teacups, and are perfect for that morning or after-dinner espresso.
