Susie Cooper Black Fruits Coffee Set - Complete 1960s 21-Piece Fine Bone China Harlequin Service
Susie Cooper Black Fruits Coffee Set - Complete 21-Piece Harlequin Service
1960s British fine bone china coffee service comprising coffee pot, milk jug, lidded sugar bowl, six coffee cans, six saucers and six tea plates.
Pieces feature stunning line drawings of individual fruits, contrasted with brightly coloured matt holloware interiors. Each cup features a different fruit drawing - cherry, apple, pear, grape, strawberry and peach. The coffee pot has cherry on one side and pear on the reverse, the jug strawberry, and the lidded sugar bowl has cherry.
The service is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is very slight wear to the coloured interior glazes to the rims of the coffee cans consistent with age.
Suitable for daily use or display. As with all vintage china, I recommend handwashing only in gentle detergent.
I am a highly experienced shipper of fragile vintage pieces, happy to send worldwide, and I always combine shipping costs for multiple purchases. Collection from my UK warehouse also welcome.
