Genie Bottles Moon And Stars Pattern - Vintage Italian Decorative Decanters From Empoli, In A Selection Of Colours
Vintage 1960s Italian glass genie decanters of fishtail shape, decorated with relief crescent moon face and scattered stars to shoulder area, with ribbed neck, flame shaped 'steeple' stopper, and geometric faceted diamond design towards the base. Birdbath base with no markings.
23"/58cm tall including stopper.
A beautiful decorative item alone, or displayed with other genie bottles in different colours and shapes.
Excellent condition, no damage. These were mass-produced items and there are bubbles and strawmarks throughout, in keeping with manufacture at the time. Original plastic insulation to stopper shafts has perished, and been replaced with tape to hold stoppers firm. This can be removed if desired.
