A selection of stunning vintage Midwinter Pottery coffee pots in the iconic 1960s Fine Shape, including Berkeley, Kismet, Romany, Almeira, Alpine Gold and Spanish Garden patterns. New patterns added regularly, please do check back.

Standard-sized New-Look Fine Shape coffee pots, with flat lids. This shape was also known as MQ1, and was designed by David, Marquis of Queensberry in 1966 as an adaption of the earlier Fine Shape with knob-handled lids launched by Midwinter in 1962.
(Please see my separate listing for a selection of early Fine Shape coffee pots with the knob-handled lids).

Perfect for display or daily use, they look fantastic alone or grouped together, and complement both vintage and contemporary decor. They also make perfect flower vases.

The patterns are transfer-applied, and are the same on both/all sides of the pots. Bases have Midwinter backstamps, some also with pattern name.
The Midwinter catalogue reference was "FN30/S - 40oz coffee pot"

Height including lid: 8”/20cm
Capacity: 40oz/2pt/1.2 litres approx

See photos for pattern names.

All coffee pots are in good used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. As these pieces are some 50 years old, there may be age-related clean crazing in places, or small scratches or areas of wear to patterns, but they are all suitable for daily use, and there is nothing to detract from the beauty of the items. As with all vintage ceramics, these are not suitable for microwave or dishwasher and should be gently handwashed in mild detergent.

I have thousands of matching pieces of Midwinter Pottery if you are looking for a specific piece or would like to make a set. Just drop me a conversation.
